enter. join. share?

This project has a mission to allow all people a chance to explore the Bible and what it means to be a disciple. All three words relate to the story of God. Enter the story means a chance to explore and see what the story of God is about. Join means taking it a step further. It means beginning to reflect and say, "yes I want to be a part of this story". Share is the final step. Now that a person has had a chance to explore and become a part of the story of God it becomes time to live it out in the world. The primary way this project does this is through story guides.

A story guide is:

A story guide is a resource for groups or individuals. This particular guide will help walk you through the letter know as Philippians. It gives background information and a broader view of the context the letter was written in. The real benefit of this guide comes in the reflective questions that will guide you to engage with the letter in view of your own life and personal context.

How can I get one?

There are two main ways to get a story guide. For those who like physical books you can get a copy that is published and sold through Amazon (linked below). The second way is for free through Patreon. Anyone who joins my Patreon receives access to a community that will help shape future guides, early access to content, and you have access to free digital copies of all published Story Guides (also linked below).

Hey, I am Brandyn Jaymes. I am the author of these story guides and founder of this project. It can be hard to know who to trust when looking at resources around the Bible. So, very briefly let me build a bit of trust.

I am the pastor of First Congregational Church in Waterloo Iowa. I have a Master's of Divinity with a focus on Small Groups and Discipleship from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary as well as a Bachelor's in Biblical studies with and emphasis in Pastoral Ministry from Grace Christian University. I have been on staff at various churches where I write and use these guides with the groups I lead. It is my hope that anyone can use these guides and that they would feel safe, supported, and confident in what they read. If you want to learn more about me you can find me on most social media platforms or at the links below.
